Many volunteer to work several hours on top of their responsibilities and will bend over backwards to help anyone in need, and especially to assist students and community members. Following Hurricane Irma, KLS has distributed supplies on several occasions.

    It was a very nice experience to try out the glass bottom tour. The narrator was very friendly and gave good information. For the best view, try to sit with your legs dangling over the glass. There are some snacks on board but don't go empty stomach. You could also get drinks.

    Tldr: they cancelled at 315 and no other boats go out after 3 Called while in Miami to make sure they could provide the service I needed, after conformation I drove down through multiple tolls and traffic to make it to key largo by 2. Upon arrival everything seemed fine. The very nice lady who worked at the booth tells us to hold tight for 2 more guests who never show so they call off the trip and say let's do tomorrow but that wouldn't work as I was in Miami for an event the next day. Unknowingly everyone who does these trips leaves at 3 so by waiting I had missed most boats. I asked everyone of the companies on the area and no one was going out. Even called some captains on Craig's list. Super bummed it's just something I have wanted to do for awhile. So I'm out the 4 hours of driving, the couple hours I drove and called places. As we all know 6 hours off vacation time is no good. Can't do sat and most boats can't get enough people to book early Sunday so I'm just not gonna get to get to see any coral. Just wish they would have let me know the group was small and there was a possibility they wouldn't be able to go so I wouldn't have wasted so much time.

  • Review of "Silent World Dive Center" at Key Largo

    Great set of dives with Silent World today. My daughter and son in law and grandson did the discovery scuba class then two open water dives this afternoon. It was a blast being able to watch them in the water seeing a new world. As luck would have it we saw a couple reef sharks to cap the day off! The whole staff was fantastic!
